We love solar. We love amazing new clean technology that can be put into the hands of everyday people to save them money.
That’s why we designed SolarPlus…to save installers time and money, to help improve installation efficiency…to help more people switch on to clean power!
We know first-hand the challenges of meeting compliance requirements – pulling together the loose strands of customer info, component data, drawings and design calcs to comply with standards.
We could see that SolarPlus could reduce the admin load and save time. We also saw that giving installers a powerful modeling and solar sales tool would give you a competitive advantage, no matter how big or small the business.
Our goals with SolarPlus
We’ve been developing this platform for 6 years and we have big plans to keep growing.
Our goals are clear:
1. Be the greatest resource partner an installer or solar-storage sales company can have:

Glen Morris - Chairman, Solar+storage training guru
Glen has worked in the renewable energy industry for 30 years designing and installing on and off-grid systems. He has been the Smart Energy Council’s vice president and their representative on our industry’s standards committee. For the past five years Glen has focused his business on training, moving to online courses and live streaming tech talks. Glen’s regularly shares his knowledge of the solar industry with SolarPlus employees and customers.
Laurie Kane - MD & Captain of Innovation
Laurie Kane leads operations of Solaris, keeping the team strongly focussed on product innovation and customer satisfaction.
Laurie has a background in solar online training having developed solar best practice training courses , managed a national solar inspection program, and managed IT systems for the Australian Solar Council.
Laurie is an enthusiastic proponent of clean technology and making solar energy more accessible globally.
